RAVA KESARI



Rava kesari is a sweet dish of south Indian dishes, using to make rava or suji, ghee,sugar, nuts. this recipe yield to you delicious and fluffy, sofe, rava kesari under 20 mints.

It is taken breakfast dessert or after meal desert, in some part of Karnataka or Maharashtra called like shreera, but there are made without color, in South Indian and north Indian are make this simple and rich sweet ganesh chadhurti, krishna jenanthi, navarathiri, and pooja holidays.

Unhealthy to add food color and also add saffron  for a rich color, but today im forget to add saffron for colour so im used food co lour it optional if you dnt like it skip.

There are so many varites of kesari like pineapple keari, sweet kesari, plam kesari, milk kesari,  jack fruit kesari, fruit kesari,semiya kesari.


INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1 cup of rava
  2. ¾ cup of sugar
  3. 2 ½ cup of water
  4. 4 cardamoms
  5. Ghee 4 tsp
  6. Nuts powder 1 tsp
  7. Food color 


PROCEDURE:

Step 1: take a pan heat it low flame

Step 2: then pan became heat add 1 tsp of ghee

Step 3: then add 1 cup of rava and roast it well

Step 4: then transver roasted rava to plate

Step 5: then heat same pan

Step 6: then add 1 tsp of ghee and add 4 numberr of crushed cardamom 

Step 7: then add 2 cup of water boiled or little bit of heat

Step 8: then add roasted rava into a boiling water and mix continously

Step 9: it became thick consistency add ¾ cup of water

Step 10: then take pinch of food colour and dissolved it on water then it on kesari and mix evenly

Step 11 : yummy  kesari is ready to serve.

NOTES:

How much of water used for rava kesari?

Most of the people preferred to 2 ½ cup of water, usually rava absorbed 3 cup of water for 1 cup of rava to yield soft kesari and mouth melting texture 
Don’t add more amount of ghee its make a kesari turn sticky.

PICTORIAL:


Take a pan put  1 tsp ot ghee


Then add 1 cup of rava  roast well


Then transfer plate 


Again sane pan put 1 tsp of ghee

Then add cardamoms  for flavour 


Then add 3/4 cup of water 


Add roasted rava into a boiling water 


Mix continuously without lumps 


Became thick consistency


Then add sugar 


 

Take yellow food color



Dissolved with water

Put it on rava mixture 


Then add 1 tsp of nuts powder 



Kesari is ready to serve
