RAVA KIOCHADI



Rava  kechadi  with step by step photo, this is one of usual breakfast at our home, this is different  taste from rava upma.

Always used to make kechdi sooji so this recipe also called sooji kichadi, tjis is one of the south Indian breakfast recipes.

This time when i made rava kechadi for blog, i didn’t used any veggies and cash nut and ghee i make easy and simple method  if you want add veggies and cash nuts, it give a rich taste and give a lot of nutrition’s.

Serving rava kichadi accompanied coconut chutney and tomato chutney.

Rava kechadi id one of my top favourite recipe, i always love with all rava recipes rava upma , dosa, pongal,kichadi.

INGREDIENTS:

Onion - 2 number chopped
Tomatoes – 1 number sliced
Rava – ¼ kg
Green chilli – 2 number sliced
Ginger – 1 tsp
 Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Oil – 3 tsp
Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
Water needed
Curry leaves
Funnel seed - ¼ tsp


PROCEDURE :

Step 1: Take pan put oil when oil became heat adds rava rasted it brown colour.

Step 2: Then transfer roasted rava into a plate

Step 3: Then take pan pour oil

Step 4: When oil became heat add funnel seeds

Step 5: Then add curry leaves, ginger, and green chillies

Step 6: Add onion sauté well

Step 7: onion became cooked then adds tomatoes smash it

Step 8; then add turmeric powder satue well to remove raw smell of turmeric powder

Step 9: then add water

Step 10: then add salt to taste

Step 11: when water became boil consistency add roasted rava mix well.

Step 12: then cover a pan and cook it low flame

Step 13: after few mints open and mix then rava kichadi is ready to serve.

Then add water, Then add salt to taste



When water became boil consistency add roasted rava mix well



 Then cover a pan and cook it low flame


 After few mints open and mix then rava kichadi is ready to serve.


NOTES:

If you want to add vegetables like carrot, beans, capcicum, mushroom, green peas, and also add cashewnuts friend before add serve

When add veggies you can add after cooked tomatoes then add veggies and cook well .

 If you want to add garam masalas it give a different taste and also add ghee.

This is a simple and very very easy breakfast in a hurry burry days.

This is best dinner recipe for old people and diabetic patiens .
