CHICKEN PEPPER GRAVY


Planning make a totally different recipe in this weekend,  it’s called chicken pepper gravy, then it exotic pepper chicken recipe that brings variety to boring meals, chicken pepper gravy used very common ingredients and it one of the easiest recipe you will ever make, this recipe quick and easy to make traditional recipe, i learn in this recipe with my grandmother, it is sure cure cough, cold and body ache, there is a version of this recipe every home, but there two  ingredients make it wonder aroma that’s it pepper and curry leaves love this one when served with naan and wire rice i hope you will love it and let me know what you think.

Preparation time 10 minutes

Cooking time 30 mints

Serve 4 to 6 members

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Onion - 5 numbers sliced
  2. Tomatoes - sliced 4 numbers
  3. Ginger garlic paste -2 tsp
  4. Green chili – 1 number
  5. Curry leaves – hand full
  6. Funnel seed – ½ tsp
  7. Pepper powder – 2 tsp
  8. Garm masala – 1/2 tsp
  9. Kashmir chili powder – 1 ½ tsp
  10. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  11. Coriander powder – ½ tsp
  12. Coriander leaves
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Chicken -  1 kg  
  15. Water needed
  16. Groundnut – [optional] 1 tsp
  17. Oil – 4 tsp


PROCEDURE:

Step 1 : Take a pan, put oil then add funnel seeds

Step 2 : Then add a sliced onion sauté it turn a color like pink

Step 3:   Then add ginger garlic paste sauté well to remove raw smell 
and add also curry leaves

Step 4: Add sliced tomatoes and smash it gravy consistency

Step 5: Then add washed clean chicken cover the lid and cook chicken for 15 mints every 5 mints open lid and mix it

Step 6 : Then chicken became cooked add masalas one by one like chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, to mix it all to remove a raw smell.

Step 7: Then Add water and close cooked 5 mints

Step 8: Add salt to taste

Step 9: When chicken became consumed water and semi gravy 
consistency add pepper powder and groundnuts

Step 10: Pepper chicken is ready to serve.

PICTORIAL :


Take a pan out oil  


Then oil became heat add funnel seeds


 Then add sliced onion and sauté well turn pink colour


Then add ginger garlic paste to sauté it remove raw smell of ginger 
garlic paste


Then add sliced tomatoes smash it



Then add chicken cover lid cook well 15 mints


Then add masalas like turmeric powder, Kashmir chilli powder, 
coriander powder


Then add water to needed and add salt to taste


Then finally add pepper powder 


Chicken pepper gravy is ready to serve.

 NOTES:

If you want to pepper chicken gravy consistency add a cup of water, But you want pepper fry sprinkled water and close lid fry every 5 mints and cook. If you want curry to add couple of cup water and cook it. 3 in 1 way you can cook same ingredient used chicken  pepper fry,  chicken pepper gravy, chicken pepper curry. This is a best pain with plain rice, jeera rice, dose, roti, naan, chappathi, poori, and biriani.
