MUTTON CURRY
It is a tasty nonveg recipe and spice curry, i make today mutton curry in my mom style, best combination of mutton curry goes to idly, dosa, chapati, parrota, iddiyappam, White rice and ghee rice.
INGREDIENTS:
FOR MEET BOILING:
MUTTON- 1 KG
GINGER GARLIC PASTE- 1 TSP
TURMERIC POWDER-1/2 TSP
SALT
FOR GRINDER:
COCONUT- 1/2 SHELL
POPPY SEEDS/KASA KASA-1/4 TSP
CASHNUT- 5 NUMBERS
SOMBU-2 TSP
FOR CURRY:
ONION- 5 NUMBERS SLICED
TOMATO- 4 NUMBERS
SPICES- BAY LEAF,CLOVES,KALPASI,STAR FLOWER
GINGER GARLIC PASTE- 2 TSP
GREEN CHILLY- 2 NUMBERS
CHILLY POWDER-3 TO 4 TSP
CORIANDER POWDER-2 TSP
SALT TO TASTE
POTATO- 4 NUMBERS
PROCEDURE:
Take a pressure cooker add mutton, ginger and garlic paste, and add a salt and turmeric powder, close a cooker lid to placed wait for 4 whistle
then take mixer blender add grated coconut, poppy seeds,cashnut,then add sombu to grind it creamy paste consistence
then take pan add oil then add spices, add onion saute well
then add ginger garlic paste mix to remove raw smell
then add tomato cook
then add add boiled mutton
then add water
to add salt to taste
then add coconut paste
boil for 10 to 15 mints
mutton curry is ready to serve.
PICTORIAL:
Take 1 kg of mutton
Add a ginger garlic paste
Add a turmeric powder
Place a whistle cook for 5 whistle
Mutton cooked well
Take a pan pour a oil and add a spices
Add a onion and tomato cook well smashed
Add potato
Add mint leaf
Then add a cooked mutton and water and salt
Add a masalas
Mix well and boiled for few mints
Then add a coconut paste boiled for 10 to 15 mints
Mutton curry is ready to serve
