KALYANAVEETU SAMBAR
Sambar is a very taste recipe, is serve with white rice, this is a main dish in marriage function, veg-meal, healthy recipe because we add a lot of vegetables and also add a dhal protein rich recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
1. SLICED ONION- 4 NUMBERS
2. TOMATO- 6 NUMBERS
3. VEGETABLES- LIKE (BEANS, CARROT, BRINJAL, LADIES FINGER, YELLOW PUMPKIN/MANJAL POOSANI/SAKARA POOSANI, SNAKE GOURD/PUDALANGAI, INDIAN BROAD BEANS/AVARAIKAI, POTATO.
4. DRY RED CHILLY-1 NUMBER
5. MUSTARD- 1/2 TSP
6. CUMIN SEED- 1/4 TSP
7. CURRY LEAVES- FULL HAND
8. CORIANDER LEAVES- FULL HAND
9. ASAFODITA-1/2 TSP
10. DHALL-2 CUP
11. OIL- 2 TSP
12. SALT TO TASTE
13. TURMERIC POWDER
14. CHILLI POWDER
15. CORIANDER LEAVES
16. tamarind - TO DISSOLVE A HOT WATER
PROCEDURE:
Take a pot put a 2 cup of dhall to add a water wash well, then a add 5 cup of water put on stove pot cook dhall. then take aanother pan put oil to add mustard cumin seed, red chilli, curry leaves, and coriander leaves one by one, then add onion saute well, then add tomato well, then add vegetables cook and add salt to cook for vegetables, close pan with lid to cook vegetables for few minutes, then add a turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, asafodita mix well to remove a masalas raw smell, then add a water boil for 10 to 15 mint and add a turmeric, cooked dhal mix well boil for 5 mints, add dhall and tarmarind water boil few minetes kalyana sambar is ready to serve.
PICTORIAL:
Take a dhall washed
Then add a water cook dhall
Take a vegetables washed well
Sliced onion 6 numbers
Take dry red chilly, mustard, cumin seed for thalisam
Take a pan put a oil add a talism ingredients
Then add a curry leaves and coriander leaves
Add a sliced onion saute well
Then add tomato mashed to cook
Then add a vegetables and add a salt to taste
Close a lid cook for 10 to 15 mints
And add a masalas cook well then add a water
Add a cooked dhall to a vegetables
And also add a tamarind juice boil for 5 mints
Sambar is ready to serve
