GHEE RICE /NEYCHORU 




This is a kerala recipe, in kerala Malabar ney choru is verfamous one making using rice like jeeragasamba, best comination of ney choru is served with mutton curry or chicken gravy,ney choru is translates to ghee rice and it is one of the classical dish from kerala cuisines.

If you are vegetarian you can also served with paneer gravy of mushroom gravy or mealmaker gravy.

This is mild spice rice, main dish with a combination of chicken gravy, and mutton gravy, very simple to making, easy to cook, let’s go to start.


VARIATION OF GHEE RICE:
If you want to add coconut milk in this recipe, 1 cup rice you take and add 1 cup of water, 1 cup of coconut milk.

you can also add vegetables in this rice kile carrot,green peas... for color full to kids lunch box.


if you can use basmathi rice roasted with ghee two minutes then cook rice became seperatly and fluffy.


Flavored rice recipe is very common in Indian recipe and are made for many occasions.

Some recipes are one pot meal are not required side dish, but some flavored rice are required side dish, one such flavored rice in south India ghee rice or ney choru made made  during the festive.

INGREDIENTS:

·         ONION - 2 NUMBER CHOPPED 
·         TOMATO - 1 NUMDER SLICED
·         GREEN CHILLY - 4
·         GINGER GARLIC PASTE - 1 TSP
·         MINT LEAVES  FULL HAND 
·         SALT TO TASTE
·         SPICES - CINAMOM,CARDAMOM,CLOVES,BAY LEAF,
·         GARM MASALA - 1/4 TSP
·         GHEE - 2 TSP
·         COCONUT OIL -2 TSP
·         CURD - 1 CUP
·         LEMON  JUICE- 1
·         RICE - 2 CUP
WATER -4 CUP

PROCEDURE:


STEP:1 Take a pan pour a oil and ghee.

STEP:2 then add a spices then add a sliced onion, statute.

STEP:3 then add a ginger garlic paste then add a chilly and mint.

STEP:4then add a tomato smash well.

STEP:5add a garam masala and add a curd mix well.

STEP:6 then add a water and add salt to taste.

STEP:7when water became a boil add a rice.

STEP:8close a pot cook a rice, ghee rice ready to serve.

ADD CHILLY


THEN ADD ONION


ADD MINT, SAUTE WELL


THEN ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE


ADD TOMATO


SMASH TOMATO THEN ADD GARAM MASALA


THEN ADD A CUP OF CURD


MIX WELL


ADD WATER,,SALT TO TASTE AND RICE




If u want food color dissolved water pour a upper layer its optional ghee rice ready to serve.
